Additional Information
I am currently seeking a General Dentistry associate position that supports my skills and provides the opportunity for future growth with a mentoring and progressive environment
I am hardworking and strive to constantly broaden my knowledge in various dental disciplines through CE courses and independent study. I actively seek feedback to continually improve my skills. For my patients, I aim to create an inviting atmosphere by establishing personal connections, working to understand their concerns, and clearly communicating their treatment options and goals. Through my GPR at the VA hospital, I have been afforded the opportunity to gain significant experience in anterior/posterior composite and amalgam restorations, conventional fixed and removable prosthodontics, simple/surgical extractions, multiple implant restorations, immediate implant temporization, complex treatment planning, rotary endodontics, and the management and recognition of patients with emergent endodontic needs, oro-facial pain and oral pathology.
I am currently completing my one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VA) here in Indianapolis. I earned my DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in May 2013 and I am excited to embark on my dental career here in Indianapolis as my fiancé and I establish roots for the future. I am friendly, compassionate and inquisitive. I have also had the unique privilege to travel twice to the Dominican Republic providing community service of dental care to individuals who could not otherwise afford it. In addition to cases I see daily at the VA, the cases I worked while in the Dominican Republic were extremely complex as well as rewarding. It taught me that a caring dentist’s smile is just as important as the quality of care we provide.
