Additional Information
I strive to embody my patients as an extension of my family. My philosophy of care is to always deliver treatment in the most ethical, conservative and gentle manner possible. I value treating staff, patients and colleagues with the utmost respect and see integrity as a pillar of a person’s values. I enjoy a variety of dental procedures and continue to try and learn every day in the practice of dentistry. I value continuing education and making processes and procedures easier for the patient, as well as expanding my scope of services to the community.
Over the past five years, I have been fortunate to work in a great practice that values similar aspects of dentistry and relationships, and feel that it has provided me with valuable learning experiences and foundations for success. I have gained clinical experience, efficiency, and confidence while being mentored by my more practiced employer. I also have had the opportunity to learn about the business side of dentistry, and have observed some of the characteristics needed to be a good leader and run a successful practice.
I have invested countless hours into reading and learning about the many aspects of managing and owning a dental practice, and continue to try and do so every day. I am motivated and ready to implement what I have learned and give my all to continue your success in the dental community. I value humility, integrity and ethical delivery of oral care to patients. I hope to instill a caring environment focused around a fun working environment and high standards of customer service.
During my undergraduate studies I was selected into a summer research program with the chemistry department to study chlorine dioxide for governmental research. I played varsity soccer and was selected as the captain my senior year as well.
During my dental school experience, I was a Teaching assistant for the occlusion course as well as an instructor for assistants radiology certifications. I was a tour guide for prospective students through the admissions department and volunteered in many community programs. I was selected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and graduated magna cum laude in school.
I continued my studies after dental school and completed a 1 year certificate in a GPR program at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. I am Invisalign certified as well as CPR and BLS.
