Additional Information
As a future dentist, my career objectives include providing the best care possible for my patients. I believe in constantly being up to date with the latest technology, taking continuing education courses to expand my knowledge of this ever-growing field, and providing long lasting comprehensive care. To do so, I must be educated properly so that I can in return educate my patients and care for them properly. My goal is to help my patients achieve their dream smile while bringing function and self-esteem back into their lives.
As a dental professional, I believe it is imperative to have great communication skills to not only build a relationship with my patients, but also to effectively communicate treatment and care for them. I believe that I possess this characteristic, although I do know that I still have much to learn and grow as a graduating dental student. I am very detail oriented, have experience with leadership in various clubs and organizations, dexterity to effectively provide treatment to my patients, organization skills and problem-solving skills.
No matter what the location, situation or who I am in contact with, I believe it is extremely important to exude compassion, patience, and kindness to all we meet. I make it a priority in my life to not only show my patients these characteristics, but also my family, friends, and those I am surrounded by. Along with these characteristics, I am hard working, reliable, respectful, trustworthy, and willing to learn and grow from my mentors and those around me. As a current dental student, I understand that I have learned the basics of what I need to become a dentist, but there is much more for me to learn. Therefore, it is so important for me to work alongside other dentists to learn and grow from their expertise and wisdom.
